In the fall of 1984, Dr. Penny Cade is given an opportunity to uncover secrets from a society that the world dismisses as only legend. The mission’s benefactor assigns a companion for the journey whose closed off nature provides yet another mystery for Penny to unravel. Clues lead the team from crypts to shopping malls, but not necessarily to each other’s true motivations.
